On the 11th day of Geekmas, I 3d printed Zangetsu from Bleach. Fun fact: Bleach is hands down, by far, my favorite anime. I love the art style in Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, and even Dragon Ball Super. I also love the storytelling in all of those, and I would add to the list Hunter x Hunter and One Piece. BUT Bleach is king in my heart. Any time Ichigo hits a new level, it feels like I'm right there with him growing in whatever craft I'm striving at too. With that, let's dig in on the print for his first blade. Post Processing involved removing minimal supports and a bit of brim. The print took about 8 hours on the Bambu P1P but I scaled the blade down to 65% so that it could all fit on one printer. Once it came off of the printer, I glued the pieces together with Gloop, while making sure to insert 2 threaded rods for good measure. Once the glue dried I sanded it all over with a Dremel and then applied some wood filler, and sanded once more. Painting this took about 3 hours total, but with dry time, it ended up pushing to 12 hours. As with the other Geekmas prints, I rushed to get it done in time and did not do a complete post process job as I was eager to share it with you all.
